Impact Statement

Partnerships and Teacher Training: St Clare’s has informal partnership agreements with a number of local primary and secondary schools which host adult teacher trainees from other countries who undertake work experience: The Cherwell School, Pegasus Primary School, West Kidlington Primary School, St Nicholas’ Primary School, SS Philip and James Primary School. A formal partnership registered with the ISSP (Independent/State Schools Partnership) between St Clare’s and XP School, a state-funded Free School in Doncaster has continued this year and St Clare's provided training and support for XP School teachers and pupils in preparation for them to begin teaching the IB Diploma in September 2019. Although the XP school has now decided against adopting the IB route the relationship continues to develop.
Providing work experience: St Clare’s provided work experience for young people from local state secondary schools. Four young people benefited in 2017-18.

We offer IB Diploma scholarships to students who contribute to our thriving learning community, academically and through experiences, achievements and interests. Whether you live in the UK and overseas, you are eligible to apply.

Our day and boarding scholarships, may be partial or full scholarship awards. All scholarships are awarded for the full course.

Join the cohort of successful applicants who have received an academic scholarship and benefitted from our specialist teaching, pastoral and careers teams.
