Swimming pool sharing and coaching

Pupils from South Moreton Primary School (Years 4, 5 and 6 as well as our local clubs, the Herons and Red Kites) use the swimming pool at Cranford House School every week during the Summer Term.  They are taught to swim by Cranford House's swimming coach.     

Aims

The aim is to foster a close partnership with a local state school and help to raise the standard of swimming skills for the 40 - 50 or so pupils who attend every week.  They also have lots of fun! 

Resources

The School Swimming Pool is used and the pupils are taught by Cranford House's swimming coach.

Impact

Marked improvement in the confidence and swimming ability of pupils.  Every child receives a certificate of completion at the end of the 6-week course.
