Stations of the Cross Forest School Morning

St. Edmund's Catholic Primary School two Year 4 classes will be visiting us to take part in a Stations of the Cross Forest School Morning.  We will be providing transport enabling them to visit us.

We will be hosting a similar Stations of the Cross Forest School morning with pupils from St. Joseph's Catholic School.

Aims

The partnership aims to provide an opportunity for two Year 4 classes to experience the joy of Forest School and enhance their Religious Education.

Background

This opportunity was identified by the Headmistress as part of our ongoing work with both the Catholic and local community.

Resources

We will provide transportation via our School minibuses which will be driven by our staff. We will collect the children and staff from the local schools and return them later in the day.

Minibuses will be driven by a mixture of teaching and non-teaching staff.  The session will be led by teaching staff.

We are looking forward to greeting approximately 60 children to the sessions.

Pupil Involvement

The pupils are all from two co-educational Year 4 classes.

Frequency

This will be the first time that we have shared this experience together but hope it will become an annual event.  We also hope to build opportunities for further partnerships with both schools based on the success of this event.
