Rokeby School and Fern Hill Primary – Supporting STEM Education
Over the past two years, Rokeby School has developed a thriving partnership with Fern Hill Primary School, demonstrating the power of collaboration between independent and state schools. This ongoing relationship has delivered mutual benefits through shared learning experiences, student mentoring, and joint projects that promote academic engagement and social responsibility. A cornerstone of the partnership has been the regular STEM mornings hosted at Fern Hill. Led by Rokeby staff and supported by senior pupils, these hands-on sessions introduce primary students to exciting science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts. From designing bridges to coding robots, the mornings spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of problem-solvers.
