Remembrance and fundraising

We observe a minutes silence by the flag pole to honour those who gave their lives.  

We raise money by providing every student and staff a poppy in exchange for a donation.

To raise money and awareness of the history surrounding this day. 

Background

We feel it is very important the boys remember this day and the history surrounding it 

Resources

A staff member contacts the poppy appeal or source the poppies for boys and staff. 

Pupil Involvement

All boys are given a poppy and are involved in the minute silence by the flag pole. 

The head boys reads poem and a student who attends cadets places a wreath by the flag pole

We support this event yearly.
