MacMillan Coffee morning 2024

A staff Macmillan coffee morning was help to raise money. 

Staff were encouraged to bring in cakes which were then eaten during break time and £122 was raised.  

We have staff and students/parents who are personally affected by cancer so this is something we always support 

Aims

To raise money for Macmillan while enjoying cake and coffee

Background

We have staff and boys/parents who are personally affected by cancer so we feel this is an important cause. 

Resources

We applied for a pack from Macmillan which provided us with some decorations. A staff member decorated and set up some tables which other staff bringing in their handmade or shop brought cakes on the morning. 

Pupil Involvement

Students were not involved in this as it was just for staff members. 

Frequency

We support this event and charity every year.
