Netball Festival

Kingswood hosts an annual Netball Festival for Year 6 pupils from local state schools. At the last event in March 2019, 96 pupils attended from 11 different state primary schools. Kingswood provided the facilities, umpires and coaching to all the pupils immediately before teams played against each other, as well as a drink and snack for all participants. The coaching team was made up of Kingswood coaches, 3 U6th members of the 1st Team, and a professional netball player from Team Bath.

Aims

To promote the playing of netball in local primary schools; to provide coaching and an opportunity for local schools to play fixtures against each other making use of excellent facilities.
