Fantastic Friday - Basketball Coaching

As part of Church Crookham Junior School's programme of Fantastic Friday events, Yateley Manor basketball coach spent the day coaching basketball to children in Years 4, 5 and 6.

Aims

The aim of the project was for children from Church Crookham Junior School to receive basketball coaching.

Background

Church Crookham Junior School approached Yateley Manor School's coach via the Yateley Silverbacks basketball team who play at Yateley Manor. Yateley Manor were delighted to support the event by loaning Pete for the day.

Resources

The project utilised the services of Yateley Manor's sports teacher and basketball coach.

Pupil Involvement

Three groups of 15 pupils each received 90 minutes coaching.
