Educational events

St James Senior Girls' School welcomes pupils from local schools to attend education events hosted at the school. 

Year 11 pupils from Sacred Heart High School are invited to our school’s biennial Career Forum which comprises a keynote Speaker, a line-up of eminent speakers from a varied range of careers, breakout sessions and networking sessions with prospective employers.

Pupils across various year groups from Sacred Heart High School are regularly invited to our Minerva Society talks.  The Minerva Society is a forum for invited voluntary speakers covering a broad range of topics including natural and social sciences, business, economics and the arts.

Art and Design teachers from Avonmore Primary School use our kiln to finalise their pupils' work. We also give pupils from the school cooking lessons in our teaching kitchen.
