Community service

Our pupils volunteer locally with a number of different organisations, most notably the Churches Housing Action Trust and the Margaret Allan House for the elderly as well as with Hospice-care and many other groups. We have excellent relationships with these and many other charities in which we do not just raise money, but also undertake meaningful work too.

We have a close link through a member of staff , and we have now developed this into a regular volunteering activity

Resources

The elderly attend school events like concerts and plays. The pupils visit them and help with activities in the week and at weekends.

Impact

Very posiitve impcat on the residents and pupils.
