Impact Statement

The new STEM enrichment programme offers local primary schools the chance to sign up for a variety of workshops that directly relate to STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). Our workshops offer a fun, hands-on experience and bring STEM subjects out of the classroom and into the real world, with interactive activities like robotics and computer coding, and earthquake challenges using K’Nex. Woodbridge School has created strong links with local businesses such as BT Labs@Adastral Park and Sizewell B which support the programme and allow us to widen the range of experiences on offer. This opportunity will allow pupils to develop new skills and experiences through a programme that broadens and strengthens the school curriculum. The workshops have been tailored to suit specific year groups as young as Year 1 and 2 or even target a girls only audience, to boost their interest in STEM subjects.
