Cards for the community
Our school's "Cards for the Community" initiative involves students creating and distributing personalised cards to local nursing homes and primary schools, spreading joy and fostering connections with those in need.
The whole of the first form created and wrote Christmas cards to the residents of the MHA Communities East Surrey.
Pupils from the 4th form created and wrote Easter cards for pupils in local primary schools, elderly residents of local care homes and pupils at the Orpheus centre, a 16-18 school for pupils with severe disabilities.
Aims
The aim is to bring happiness, offer solace, and strengthen the bonds within our local community. We aim to enrich the lives of recipients through thoughtful messages and artistic expression.
