Impact Statement

The Hawthorns has close links with several local maintained primary schools, including pupils who have free of charge swimming lessons from Hawthorns swimming teachers in our pool every week during term time. On occasions, we loan our minibuses, sometimes with drivers, to local schools without charge. Our Activity days and holiday clubs run throughout the school holidays: these are very popular with local children and approximately 70% of children attending clubs are not pupils at the school. Staff and children volunteer at local maintained schools.
