Impact Statement

We partner with Richmond Chess Club to run numerous Chess tournaments during the year. This benefits hundreds of pupils in the borough of Richmond upon Thames. In addition we allow free use of our minibuses to assist with transportation to borough and national Chess events.
We partner with the English Primary Schools Chess Association in running one of the largest Chess qualifying events in the country for the state and independent schools.
We partner with St Mary's C of E Primary School, Hampton. A member of our staff helped to establish their school Chess club. Pupils from St Mary's are invited to the annual Mind Sports Festival at TPS and there is regular use of our minibuses given for trips, both locally and further afield. Additional activities including sports fixtures and sharing of resources is also planned.
We have donated good quality library books to a local state primary school.
We have an educational partnership with a group of parents, many of whom choose to home-school their children. This involves the use of our IT and Science facilities three times each term and the occasional use of our sports equipment.
We have also sponsored the National Mind Sports Olympiad which takes place in London annually. We have sponsored this for the last 4 years. The event benefits hundreds of children form a variety of UK schools.
