Voluntary Service at The Rugby Portobello Trust
The Rugby Portobello Trust (RPT) helps local young people to build their community by providing facilities, skills, activities and guidance that promote a stable society in a deprived area.
Latymer Upper volunteers work as academic mentors at the after school homework club for children in Y2-6, usually on a 1-1 basis with the same pupil. The RPT depends on its volunteers, so they develop a deeper understanding of the importance of being committed and reliable. The volunteers build valuable relationships with children from divers backgrounds and learn skills that will last a lifetime.
