Sharing resources in Computer Science and ICT
Pocklington School, Fulford School and Manor School established a link to assist each other to optimise delivery of the Computer Science and ICT curriculum.
The aim of the project is to support schools to deliver high quality teaching in Computer Science and ICT, by sharing resources, ideas, good practice and exemplar work.
The project came about in 2015, following changes to the Computer Science and ICT curriculum.
Head of Curriculum ICT and Computing at Pocklington School attends weekly sessions at Manor School to gain information and resources to assist with delivery of Computer Science curriculum at Pocklington School.
Pocklington School Head of ICT and Computing also assists Manor School with their ICT GCSE delivery, as the two schools use the same exam board.
Fulford School, as a lead school in Computer Science, also support Pocklington School.
