Rugby Coaching Support

Every Tuesday a member of staff  helps assist and coach Year 9 and 10 pupils at their team training during the Autumn and Easter terms. The U.14's team were previously District Champions and County Finalists.

Aims

An experienced coach from York House School provides support and advice to the pupils and PE staff at St. Clement Danes.

The extra support is invaluable and the pupils benefit in progress and performance.

Background

The Head of PE at St. Clement Danes' asked for help and support from York House School.

We are currently in our second year of assisting with this coaching.

Resources

One member of staff each week. for 1.5 hours per week.

Rugby players from Year 9 and 10 attend weekly training.

The training support will continue for the next 5 years.
