Richmond House Run
Pupils from Years 2, 3 and 4 in three local primary schools attended a cross country run at Richmond House School. Nearly 200 children participated in the course across our 10 acres of sports fields, cheered on by pupils, parents and teachers.
Aims
The aims are to provide children from local schools within the city of Leeds who do not have large outdoor facilities, with the space to experience cross country running.
Resources
The event took place across the course of one afternoon involving use of our 10 acres of sports fields, and members of teaching and non-teaching staff.
Pupil Involvement
Four schools participating, one ourselves plus three local state schools.
Both boys and girls participated, from age 6 to 8 years old.
Frequency
Intended to be an annual event.
