Provision of Transport

Belmont School makes its minibus available at no cost in order to enable children and young people to have transport whilst on a church holiday in Norfolk.

Aims

To make available a well maintained resource for charitable work.  The minibus hire would be very expensive for the volunteers otherwise.  Belmont Preparatory School ensures that the bus is well maintained and clean.

Background

Belmont has an ongoing relationship with the local vicar and we sought to support him in his voluntary work by providing a free resource that was owned by the school but made available for the duration of the Norfolk holiday during which he works as a volunteer.

Pupil Involvement

No Belmont pupils or their families benefit from this arrangement.

Frequency

This is an annual partnership which will continue into the future.
