Primary School Activities Day at Godstowe

As part of our extensive post-CE programme, 30 year 4 children from local primary school, Hamilton Academy visited us.  They spent the morning with our Fourths, who had prepared amazing activities for the children, such as painting t-shirts and some sports games and circuits. It was a very enjoyable experience for both schools, and an important set of skills were swiftly learned by the older girls. Planning and preparing the event and the actual time and energy needed to spend two long back-to-back sessions with smaller children, was a great learning experience for the Fourths. They and the Hamilton children alike were very enthusiastic about the whole project and it's one that we hope to make a regular feature of the Post CE programme at Godstowe.
