Year 5-8 Continuity Workgroup Focus:

• Work with teachers from different phases to improve communication between Key Stages 2 and 3. 

• Improve continuity of learning by pupils in the four years spanning the transition from primary to secondary school. 

• This Work Group will focus on representation and structure within the topic of algebraic thinking, developing a consistent approach through discussion, joint lesson design, observation and the development of more effective documentation to support continuity.
