London Heads' Dance Society

In a unique, one-off event, Headteachers will don their sequins to dazzle on the dance floor and compete in a spectacular Strictly Heads dance competition to raise money for the remarkable London-based children’s charity icandance. The group of sixteen cross-sector London schools hope to raise at least £10,000 for the charity.

We are also delighted to welcome Julie Robinson, CEO of the Independent Schools Council, who will be participating alongside the schools.

Parents, staff and guests from each participating school will get to enjoy our Strictly Heads dance competition with a celebrity judging panel, performances from the charity icandance and live music. There will also be a raffle with fantastic prizes taking place on the night.

icandance founder and CEO Juliet Diener said: “We are thrilled to collaborate with Headteachers for the Strictly Heads event. At icandance we believe in promoting positive relationships through creating an environment which is emotionally nurturing and fun. We think the Heads will learn as much as our young people from throwing themselves into their performances. “Much of our fundraising is based on social interaction so we were restricted to what we could do during lockdowns as our pupils return to our weekend dance sessions and dance therapy; this couldn’t have come at a better time.”
