Isle of Wight Literary Festival

Working with a hub of primary and secondary schools across the Island including Greenmount, St Blasius, Dover Park and Binstead, Ryde Junior School hosts the IOW Literary Festival with up to 7 visiting authors, playwrights and screen writers. Pupils and teachers from local state schools are invited to join the Ryde Junior School pupils in workshops and readings throughout the day.

The festival has been a success every year with around 250 visiting pupils attending across Ryde Junior and the Senior School.

Background
