INSET for Head of of local Primary and Junior Schools

In September, we held an INSET session at our school for the Heads of local Junior Schools on the subject of guiding parents and pupils through the maze of social media. The SMT of Waverley Abbey attended as did the Head of Shottermill Junior School. Great Ballard Prep School also sent a representative. The Head of Waverley Abbey subsequently invited the speaker, Dr Aric Sigman, to give a similar address to the parents at her school, thus potentially protecting all her pupils from the dangers inherent in social media.
