Lesley is a foundation governor at Pope Paul, Roman Catholic Primary School, Potters Bar and attends governor meetings throughout the year and actively supports the school. Her particular areas of support are Pupil Premium, SEN and School Parliament – pupil voice.
Lesley has worked in Catholic Education for over 30 years, primarily as a music teacher and more recently as a teacher of RE and Liturgy leader for the Prep school. She shares her experience and expertise to help promote the Catholic ethos of the school, the Charism of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart and works to support the school in its mission aims.
Lesley has lived and taught in Hertfordshire for 32 years. Previous to teaching she worked in music production for Radio 2, Radio 3, The Park Lane Group Music Charity and the Royal Academy of Music. She has been actively involved in local churches as a musician and catechist. She is married and has three grown up children and one grandchild.
Lesley is given time off school to attend meetings and other events throughout the school year.
Lesley is passionate about Catholic education and working with young people. She has worked to promote the love of music within the primary music sector and continues to work to support the Catholic life of the school through service and mission.
