GCSE Art Show

Pupils from local maintained schools were invited to view the GCSE Art Show.

Aims

To enable pupils from local schools to talk to PGHS GCSE Art pupils about their work and to discuss how they reached their final product. 

Background

The Art Show takes place every year but until 2019 it has only been viewed by PGHS families.

Resources

Time for invitations to be arranged and time for the Art staff to speak to the visitors on the night.

Impact

PGHS pupils are given the opportunity to discuss their preparatory and final work with the hope of inspiring their visitors to also take GCSE Art.

Pupil Involvement

PGHS GCSE pupils in Y11. Visitors were generally Y9 and above.
