Ellesmere House Partnership
Redcliffe School choir sing for residents and non residents as part of our Christmas carol singing partnerhsips.
Aims
The aim is to provide elderly and/or disabled people with contact with children and to enjoy listening and singing with them. Also for the children to meet people who do not live in a family environment.
Background
This partnership was established 12 years ago by the Head of Music. The partnerhsip is part of our Community links programme.
Resources
The partnership is supported by the school choir and Head of Music and takes place at Ellesmere House.
Impact
There is no formal assessment opportunities within the partnership, the popularity of the programme within the Ellesmere House Community demonstrates how much of an impact the programme has on the residents involved.
Pupil Involvement
Pupils from Redcliffe School in Year 4 - 6 are involved in singing Christmas Carrols to the Ellsmere Community.
Frequency
The Ellesmere partnership happens annually and occurs for an hour each Christmas.
