Community Links

Longacre School is active within the local community, providing resources and hosting events, and maintaining links with several community clubs.

We hold an annual fireworks display where we invite the families from school and the local residents. 

Following Channel 4's recent programme "Old People's Home for 4 Year Old's" we have built links with Elmbridge Residential Retirement Village.  From September 2019 all children from Reception to Year 2 will go on weekly rotation to the village to have some of their lessons with the residents, such as creating a joint allotment.

Love This Life Basketball run basketball sessions twice weekly and holiday camps in the school holidays using our Sports Hall facilities.

Shamley Green Art Club use the Art department room on a weekly basis for their club.

Ewhurst Junior Football club on one occasion have used our sports fields to run a training session for the children.

We are developing a mutually beneficial partnership with Blackheath Cricket Club.  This allows them to use our indoor sports facilities for their colts winter training in return for us using their cricket pitches when required in the summer for fixtures.
