Community Garden

Loughton Town Council agreed to lease a plot of land to start a community garden. Pupils, teachers and parents from Normanhurst School are involved in transforming the garden. 

The land had to be cleared from brambles, rubbish and litter. Vegetable beds have been built and fence posts laid. The land has been transformed into a vibrant and inclusive community garden which now produced healthy organic food. 

Pupil Involvement

Pupils from Year 5 to year 11 have been taking part in the project, along with teachers and some parents.
