Community Engagement

St John's School is actively engaged with the local community. 

Each Christmas approximately 60 of our musicians walk to Erskine Hall BUPA Care Home to entertain the residents with festive music and to chat to them afterwards.

Our musicians visit a school where the children have multiple disabilities. Our boys demonstrate their instruments using touch and vibration as well as performing in a more conventional way.

A community event in Northwood Hills for which we provide a Brass Band and a Christmas tree.

Aims

To entertain residents using musical skills learnt at school. 

To develop a closer relationship with the local community. Beneficiaries are the whole community.
