Chemistry for the Brave (local schools)

Led by a Bablake Chemistry teacher and a Bablake science technician, this free conference enables science technicians in the area to learn and develop new practical skills. Colourful Chemistry in 2014 was attended by 13 delegates from eight state schools: Barr's Hill, Bue Coat, Coundon Court, Heart of England, Henley College, Lyng Hall, Southam College and Westwood Academy. Chemistry for the Brave in 2015 was attended by 12 delegates, with the addition of Ernesford Grange School and Finham Park. The conferences are sponsored by Breckland Scientific.
