Arts workshop for artistically gifted and talented pupils
Workshop for AG&T Pupils from local primary schools to work with specialist Art teacher. The theme for the day will be inspired by fish and the children will look at the work of Henri Matisse, Katsushika Hokusai and Paul Klee and how they used fish in their artwork.
Aims
To allow AG&T pupils in local primary schools to benefit from specialist art teaching. The need was identified via Moorlands Artsmark application and allowing others to benefit from the specialisms that we had in school. Twelve pupils from the wider community will benefit.
Resources
Uses school facilities - specialist art room - and expertise of teaching staff. This is a day course and there is no charge to the visiting schools.
Pupil Involvement
Twelve year 5&6 pupils from local state schools.
