Academic Partnerships:

Invite pupils from state schools to attend certain lessons etc and talks e.g. Visit of author Chris Riddell

Share knowledge skills, expertise etc. Director of Studies visits state schools to train
and promote the Accelerated Reader Programme

Drama Partnerships:

Year 8 Production ‘Here Comes the Sun’ (June 2018) supported The Yeovil Community Arts Association (YCAA) - an organisation run by a small group of volunteers dedicated to supporting opportunities and facilities for those involved and interested in the creative arts in the South Somerset area. They are based at the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil. Their activities include fundraising, active support of local groups, sponsorship of talented local young people pursuing artistic training and education and the arrangement of local cultural and arts events. £1427 raised.

Music Partnerships:

Host joint musical events with state schools: Community Sing! project involved over 250 children from local primary schools (June 2018). Hazlegrove provided all the transport and the vocal coaches.

Sport Partnerships:

Provide the sports and playground equipment in the Redstart Academy Trust and use of cricket nets for local cricket club.

Over 150 competitors used the swimming pool for the Blackmore Vale Triathlon; It is also used by the local scout group.

Other Partnerships:

Director of Studies is Chair of a local MAT and is actively involved in decision making, disciplinary issues, safeguarding, preparing for inspection, financial management, monitoring of standards and ensuring the 5 schools have the resources they need and are being run in line with regulations.
