Impact Statement

The School’s elite musicians (Cathedral Choristers) visit state primaries in the county as part of the School/Cathedral’s work with the Devon County Music Education Hub. They lead singing workshops. The visited schools then participate in an Outreach Concert at the Cathedral, at which our pupils (Choristers) also sing. In the last few years every state primary in Devon has benefited from this programme.

Exeter Cathedral School offers annual Awards ('ECS Awards') for pupils entering Year 7, designed to recognise and reward enthusiasm, commitment, potential, passion and talent amongst Year 6 pupils.

ECS Awards take the form of fee remission (with bursary top-ups also available) and are offered across a range of disciplines.

Bursaries are also available and further information is available from the Director of Finance and Operations.
