Impact Statement

We have run Impact Days for pupils in Year 4 and/or 5 from local Primary Schools. One focussed of MFL & Business. German and Spanish food was cooked and names were written in Chinese and arabic. Parents were invited in at the end of the day. Another was a Sports & Performing Arts day. Yet another was on the theme of diaries. These are both popular and a successful way to strengthen ties with local primary schools. This has given Primary aged pupils experience of Senior collaborative working and a "taste" of Independent school education.

Our Science Buskers Club, now in its third year, with volunteer pupils from Year 5 to the 6th Form, has again visited local primary schools demonstrating exciting science to multiple Year groups. It has exposed the primary pupils to a wider experience of STEM activities which may not be possible in their own schools.
