Impact Statement
We share knowledge and skills with all our referring schools which we gain by ensuring that a 10 point Initial Assessment Plan is completed for all our new pupils when they start with ourselves, which includes having Dyslexia screening and assessing their reading and writing levels. This has been managed by ensuring that our teachers have the skills necessary to assess the Plans together with being in regular contact with the referring schools. We also have individual members of staff who are Maths and Literacy Specialists, who are able to support our pupils and staff. Regular meetings held with all involved with the pupil ensure shared knowledge and skills remain current.
