Impact Statement

We provide swimming coaching for 30 pupils each week for the pupils of Dulwich Wood Junior School, that amounts to 32 hours. We host the Dulwich Youth Orchestra, providing music tutors and facilities 4 times a year for approximately 60 pupils aged 11 to 16 from local state and independent schools. We host the South London Book Quiz, welcoming guest authors and over 15 state and independent schools to the awards. We provide weekly instrumental music tuition (violin) and instruments to approximately 20 pupils at Paxton Academy, a local state school in Thornton Heath.

We have introduced an annual TEDx event at the Prep at which pupils from the North Dulwich Charter School present alongside pupils from the Prep and James Alleyn's Girls' School. Pupils and staff from North Dulwich Charter now attend our weekly lecture programme on Wednesdays from 5-6pm.

We run our own Summer School during July and August. We have provided several places to pupils at Dulwich Wood Junior School at no cost.

We have supported the establishment of a library at Dulwich Wood Junior through the provision of several hundred new books; staff from the Prep will be attending the opening of their new reading centre.
