Impact Statement

Avalon School offers work experience placements to secondary school aged pupils to gain an insight into childcare work and teaching for future career prospects. The impact on Avalon School is the support given to the teachers/teaching assistants within the classroom. Some work experience students have expressed in teaching as a career option.

Some of our Year 5 girls have recently started a maths programme at a local grammar school, it is too early to know what impact this will make on either Avalon School or the grammar school.
