Impact Statement
We have begun working with Future Learn, a teacher training centre based in a local academy, to support trainee teachers on placements during their PGCE training. The PGCE students visit the school for a placement of 3 days to 3 weeks, shadowing our staff, team teaching and teaching the pupils in our school to gain experience in a different setting. One of our team mentors the student whilst on the placement, observing them and guiding them as to how to meet their targets and setting targets for their teaching to improve.
