Impact Statement

We are continuing cricket coaching at a local primary school; one of our cricket coaches is paid by us to teach weekly cricket sessions for their Y5 and Y6 pupils for two hours a week. The pupils are starting to learn to play quick cricket and part of our coach's remit is also to teach their staff the rules of cricket.

We invited teaching assistants from three local primary schools to attend SEND training with an external speaker for 4 afternoons at our school. Fifteen staff attending and the feedback was extremely good in terms of learning new skills and getting a chance to network.

One of our teachers is a governor at a local primary school. We arrange termly sporting fixtures between our schools and use our school mini-buses to host the matches on our site. The pupils from both schools have expressed how much they have enjoyed meeting pupils from other schools
