Impact Statement

We are in a rural location and so are not close to many state schools. Our local primary school is very small. We invite them to join us for sporting events and their children come to our school to learn to swim in the summer term - these lessons are taught by a member of our staff.
There is an impact from sporting fixtures as the children have the opportunity to interact - both during matches and at match tea.
The swimming activity is for the locally primary school children alone as there is not sufficient space in the pool for a mixed group.
The numbers involved are small as explained by the fact that we are in a rural community and the local primary school comprises about 50 children.
