Impact Statement

We organise and host local state schools to the dress rehearsal of our Annual School Production in our fully equipped theatre. This took around 5 hours staff time to organise and impacted approximately 70 students and 5 teaching staff. This has a positive impact on the children as it nurtured their interest in drama and enabled them to experience a performance in a fully equipped theatre which they do not have access to at their own school.

We partner with a local state school to offer resources and staff to assist with technical theatre work. This impacts over 1,000 students and takes approximately 6 hours of staff time to organise. This means that the student and staff at the school benefit from our theatre resources and technical knowledge.

We also partner with a local state school to share knowledge and training with regard to drugs awareness and mental health awareness in relation to students for members of their staff. This means that the students benefit from their teachers increased knowledge and experience gained.

We have a reciprocal arrangement with a local state school to use our examination facilities. This impacts approximately 120 students and supports the school during a critical time of examinations.

The School offers scholarships up to the value of 10% per annum of the annual tuition fees for entry in Year 7, Year 9 and in the Sixth Form. The scholarships are awarded for academic, artistic, dramatic, musical and sporting excellence. The School also offers a Sixth Form STEM scholarship.

The School welcomes applications from students whose parents cannot afford the fees, either in full or in part. Consequently, bursaries are available on entry into the School at the ages of 11 or 16. These are means tested and awarded at the Governors’ discretion in light of the funds available, the financial circumstances of the applicant and the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam.
