Impact Statement

Lancing Prep Worthing is committed to fostering meaningful and sustainable partnerships with state‑maintained schools in our local community. Our work is grounded in the belief that all children, regardless of educational setting, deserve access to enriching opportunities that broaden horizons, build confidence and nurture a lifelong love of learning.

We support neighbouring state schools through the sharing of specialist teaching and resources where and when appropriate. Through collaborative activities, our staff provide subject expertise—particularly in areas such as languages, science, music, sport and the arts—enhancing curriculum experiences and offering pupils access to specialist equipment and learning environments. Collaborative activities, including workshops, enrichment days and shared performances or competitions, help to strengthen skills and promote social cohesion between pupils from different schools.

Our pupils also contribute through joint community projects and fundraising initiatives, helping to cultivate empathy, leadership and a sense of social responsibility. These partnerships not only enrich the learning of the pupils we work with but also deepen our own pupils’ understanding of service, inclusion and the wider educational landscape.
