We organise and host annual football tournaments for years 4 5 & 6 with local state school, giving approximately 60 children the opportunity to play. All the children benefited from the coaching provided by our PE specialist trained staff.
Our sports department also organised a Year 3 rugby and football festival, providing the opportunity for children in local schools to experience rugby for the first time. Parents were invited to watch which built up our community links.
Organise and host annual Inter-School cross country meets involving 36 state school children, developing the children's interest in a minority sport with the aim to encourage further interest in running amongst the children in the area.
Our EYFS teachers are involved in moderation of pupils work for the Early Learning Goals with local schools. This shared expertise between staff teams and provided an opportunity for sharing of good practice.
One of our members of staff is a school governor at a state primary school. She is a member of their curriculum committee and their personnel committee and has been on appointment panels for senior members of staff.
Our Head of Music has been asked to adjudicate at our local Secondary School for their music performance competition. This has built links between our schools and shared the expertise of our Head of Music.
