Impact Statement
Our Headteacher serves as a Governor for a state school and fulfils the roles of Vice Chair, member of the Education Committee and is Link Governor for SEND and Safeguarding.These roles provide support to parental partnerships and community connection, financial planning for the school and continual analysis of pupil progress and outcomes as well as providing expertise at safeguarding reviews and pupil progress meetings and delivers regular 'learning walks.'
This relationship has enabled the sharing of resources and good practice, particularly with regard to SEN as our school has a great deal of expertise. This has also contributed to developing a strong governance framework at the state school.
It should be noted that the relevant state school was rated as 'outstanding' in its first (and only, to date) OFSTeD inspection.
