Impact Statement

Cargilfield School maintains a variety of strong community relationships with local organizations. Examples include Cramond Primary School using Cargilfield’s grounds for their annual sports day and PE/games sessions. Additionally, the school collaborates on projects such as debating, netball matches, and science workshops. The Royal High Corstorphine Cricket Club enjoys access to Cargilfield’s sports hall and astro, assisting with coaching students and using the sports hall from Friday to Sunday for community cricket coaching.

Inverleith Swifts Netball Club and Cavalry Park Badminton Club also use Cargilfield's sports hall, with some of the school's dedicated staff volunteering to help with training sessions. Similarly, Cramond Kirk Badminton Club uses the sports hall, and Stagecoach Theatre Group makes use of one of the Reynolds Building as well as the sports hall. The 21st South Queensferry Scouts are free to borrow the school's minibuses when needed.

Cargilfield’s nursery children visit Strachan House Care Home weekly for activities with residents, and pupils regularly perform for residents at Cramond Residence Care Home.
