Impact Statement

We enjoy a positive relationship with two local schools who use our swimming pool free of charge and have swimming teaching on a weekly basis. This equates to 144 hours of lessons provided a year with teaching provided free of charge for 72 hours.

Davenies has a number of academic partnerships that benefit local schools. We run an annual History competition (Year 6) and four Maths competitions per year (Year 4&5) for more than 20 local primary and preparatory schools, hosting over 100 pupils at each event.

The Sports Department run 3 events; Football festival, Cricket festival and Sports Superstars per year (Year 4), with over 100 local primary school pupils participating in each event. Providing these specialist subject opportunities is a good example of how we use our expertise to promote learning in other schools.
