Impact Statement

Throughout the academic year, Embley holds between five and 10 events and workshops which are attended by Embley students and students from the local state and independent sector. This includes a Politics, Philosophy & Economics Conference and a series of Royal Institution Mathematics Masterclasses for Key Stage 2 pupils and Further Mathematics, Higher Education and International Universities conferences and workshops for Key Stage 4 students. This results in approx. 150 visiting students from the state sector benefiting from Embley led events. We play sporting fixtures with/against other local state and independent schools and community groups utilise our sports facilities at evenings and weekends. We also hold an annual Space to Share day, inviting local state primary schools to utilise our grounds and benefit from Embley led workshops. Several members of teaching staff serve as governors at local state schools and we invite all state and independent schools to the annual Embley Teaching & Learning Conference.
