Impact Statement

All joint sporting events have been very well received by local schools, parents and children. We initially invited 5 local primary schools and this has now increased to 9! In addition, St Piran's opens up all its sporting facilities and the St Piran's Centre to the local community for hire. This is again very well received and bookings are high.

We have excellent facilities here at St Piran's and are happy for state schools to use them, many activities may not have taken place if we didn't provide the use of our facilities.
We invite the local community to hire our facilities which again enables all members of the community to perhaps take part in an activity they have never tried before.
This term we have also started a new initiative which allows young carers in the community to come and use our food technology kitchen to cook and learn new culinary skills. We are also working on rolling this out with further activities.
