Impact Statement

Children from a local state school joined the school in an organised Sports Skills morning. All children benefitted from engaging with each other and learning new sports skills.

Year 6 children attended the Year 8 play. They gained a humorous insight into life in Ancient Greece and returned to their own school to review the performance and to write formal letters of thanks.

Local infant school pupils, without access to curriculum swimming, were invited to use the school pool for a focused week of swimming. The school's Swimming Coach was on hand to lend expert assistance.

Children from a local Junior School were able to deliver their Nativity Play in the school theatre thereby gaining experience of a performance setting and honing their skills of intonation, articulation and projection. Their confidence was built as a result.
